Silicon Allee GMBH

Brand Identity
Project Overview
My role as a Design Intern at Silicon Allee was to accurately bring their multiple brand identities to life through several visual mediums. Silicon Allee acts as a start-up founder’s one stop shop for making their ideas thrive in Berlin. They provide everything from housing, to office space, to equity-free funding programs to extend the runways for startups and ensure they are successful. In addition they seek to connect the Startup friendly environment of the US to the burgeoning tech industry in Berlin. This is where their Skytrain project comes into play. Skytrain connects Berlin startups with eager US investors in a Transatlantic community. Similarly, the Residency program which also required print material seeks to act as a landing pad for foreign startups looking to settle or break into the European market via Berlin.
My Contributions
I was responsible for developing new digital, print, and web material to promote the multiple projects within the wider Silicon Allee brand. I helped to create successful derivatives of the initial identity in collaboration with the co-founder of Silicon Allee Travis Todd.
One of the pivotal developments during my time at Silicon Allee was their Haus program. Haus seeks to be an information sharing network that compiles 12 years of experience and dozens of industry experts in order to ensure startup success. The Haus identity was closely linked to the initial brand identity but required much of its own content in order to truly bring this vision to life. Much of my time was spent developing promotional material for Haus, updating the website to reflect this new project, and helping with asset creation to unify the Haus platform with the existing brand identity.
